Seven modes, altered dominants, wide intervals and a four-part chorale

  1. Stained-glass modes

    Eight windows, each playing one of the seven modes, from Ionian (major) to Locrian. Name the mode.

  2. Altered aisles

    Six ii-V-I cadences. The dominant carries a ♭9, ♯9, ♯11, ♭13 or nothing. Name what it carries.

  3. Echoing nave

    Ten wide intervals, from a minor sixth to an octave. Name each before the next one sounds.

  4. Boss: the organist's choraleBOSS

    Eight four-part connections in ten keys, major and minor, with V7 inversions. Name every chord's function.
