Copyright and takedown
If you hold rights to a recording and believe it has been processed through this service without permission, this page is how to tell us. It is also the fastest way - it reaches a person, not a queue.
What the service does with audio
Stem separation uploads the file you choose to our own processing server, splits it, and deletes both the upload and the results 14 days later - 90 days on a paid account. Nothing is published, nothing is shared, and no file is used to train anything. There is no library of other people's uploads to search, which is why a takedown here is about one file and one sender rather than a catalogue.
What a notice needs
- The work you hold rights to, identified well enough for us to recognise it.
- What you believe infringes it, and where - a link, a job reference, or the circumstances you know of.
- Your name, your contact details, and the capacity in which you act (owner, or authorised to act for one).
- A statement that you believe in good faith the use is not authorised by the rights holder or the law.
What happens next
- We answer every notice within 5 working days, including the ones we decline.
- Where a notice is valid we remove the material and tell you it is done.
- Repeat infringement can end an account.
- If we decline, we say why, so you can take it further with something to go on.
If you think we got it wrong
If material of yours was removed and you believe the notice was mistaken, write to the same address. Tell us what was removed and why you are entitled to use it. We would rather reverse a wrong call than defend it.
