Frequently asked questions
- What audio formats can I import?
- MP3, WAV, FLAC, M4A, OGG and any format your browser's audio engine accepts. Drag-and-drop or click the import button — files are decoded locally in the browser, no upload.
- How many tracks can I edit at once?
- Up to 8 simultaneous tracks. Each track has its own volume, pan and BPM/pitch controls. Performance depends on your device — long, multi-track sessions on lower-end machines may need shorter clips.
- How does BPM and pitch control work?
- Each track has independent time-stretch and pitch-shift, so you can match the tempo of two stems without changing their pitch (or vice-versa). Useful for mashups, remixes and practising over backing tracks at slower tempos.
- Can I export the final mix?
- Yes — export the master as MP3 (192 kbps) or WAV. Per-track export to send into a DAW is on the roadmap. For now, route the master through your DAW via screen-share or virtual audio cable.
- Can I edit stems from Stem Separation here?
- Yes — separated stems are standard audio files. Open the Audio Editor, drag in the WAV/MP3 stems and you have a multi-track session ready for remixing or practising over.
