- What audio formats can I import?
- MP3, WAV, FLAC, M4A, OGG and any format your browser's audio engine accepts. Drag-and-drop or click the import button: files are decoded locally in the browser, no upload. A MIDI file (.mid) opens as a track of notes played on a piano, with a drum part on channel 10 played on a drum kit.
- How many tracks can I edit at once?
- Up to 8 simultaneous tracks. Each track has its own volume, pan and BPM/pitch controls. Performance depends on your device, and long, multi-track sessions on lower-end machines may need shorter clips.
- How do the BPM and pitch controls work?
- The pitch control shifts a track in semitones and leaves its tempo alone. The BPM control is a varispeed: it speeds the track up or down like a turntable, so the pitch moves with it: 240 BPM on a track recorded at 120 plays an octave higher. To change tempo without changing key, move both: raise the BPM and pull the pitch down by the same amount. True independent time-stretching is not in the editor yet.
- Can I export the final mix?
- Yes, MP3 at 128, 192 or 320 kbps, or WAV with Pro. You can export the whole project, just the loop, or a single clip, tick “one file per track” for stems as a ZIP, and normalise to −1 dBFS on the way out. Everything is rendered in your browser; nothing is uploaded.
- Can I edit stems from Stem Separation here?
- Yes. When a separation finishes, Open in the editor lets you pick the stems and puts each one on its own lane, ready to trim, fade and mix or to practise over. Stems you downloaded earlier are ordinary WAV or MP3 files, so you can drag those in too.
