Questions about minutes
What counts as a minute?
The length of the audio you separate, not how long the server takes. A four-minute song uses about four minutes.
Do I need an account?
No. Without one you get one separation a day, up to 10 minutes long. A free account gets 30 minutes every month and keeps your separations in a library.
Do minutes expire?
Free minutes start again on the 1st of each month and don't carry over. Top-ups never expire. Plan minutes last until your next billing date, and they're spent before your top-ups.
What if a separation fails?
The minutes it held go back to your balance.
How long are my files kept?
14 days on a free account, 90 days on Pro.
Can I cancel Pro?
Any time. "Manage subscription" on this page opens the billing portal, where you can change your card or cancel. Top-ups are one-off payments, so there's nothing to cancel.
How big can a file be?
Up to 10 minutes long and 64 MB per file.
What stays free?
Everything except stem separation. The audio editor, looper, tuner, metronome, piano, drums and the chord and scale libraries don't use minutes.
