Frequently asked questions
- How does the exercise work?
- A chord progression plays in a loop. Listen carefully, then select the Roman numeral pattern that matches what you heard from the four choices.
- What do the difficulty levels change?
- Higher difficulty levels add more complex progressions - from simple pop (I–V–vi–IV) at D1 through jazz and borrowed chords at D4, up to 6–8 chord phrases at D5.
- What are the key and style options?
- You can lock the key to C major for easier practice, choose a random key, or hear a random key with its name shown. The style option switches between block chords, arpeggios, and a strummed feel.
